The Chairman of Warri North Local Government of Delta State, Honourable Aduge Okorodudu, has been abducted by gunmen.
Okorodudu was said to have been kidnapped along Mbiaku link road in the Warri GRA on Saturday evening.
The driver of the victim was reportedly shot before the gunmen forcefully whisked the Warri North Council boss to an unknown destination.
The Delta State Police Command, through its image maker, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the incident, pointing out that the abductors had yet to establish contact with the victim’s family.
