A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief ( Dr ) Henry Ofa, has congratulated the Chairman of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Chief ( Sen.) Ighoyota Amori, on his 68th birth anniversary.
In a congratulatory message, Ofa described Amori as a highly valued leader with impeccable records of good developmental feats in Delta State, noting that his contributions to the overall advancement of Delta State remained worthy of commendation.
He said Amori, an elder statesman and one of the foremost Urhobo leaders, had been in the vanguard of attracting social, economic and political benefits to his constituents in Ethiope-West Local Government Area and Delta State in general, adding that his tenure as Commissioner for Education and Water Resources saw a total overhaul of both sectors in the state.
The Oghara born political tactician said to many Deltans Amori was a political enigma; while to the people of Delta Central and Ethiope-West, he remained an inspiration and a shining example of people oriented leadership.
Ofa noted that Amori’s strength was markedly evident in his geniality, humility, selflessness and patriotic dispositions to public issues, adding that his love for humanity was only surpassed by his burning desire to put smiles on the faces of people.
The PDP chieftain said as one of the many beneficiaries of the sexagenarian’s goodliness, he was pleased to rejoice with him on the anniversary of his birth and to join his family, friends and political associates to wish him the very best of his new age.
He prayed God to continue to grant Amori longevity of life, good health and prosperity in his quest to better the socio-economic lots of the Urhobos and all Deltans.
