DELTA POLICE COMMAND GREETS MUSLIMS ON EID – EL – KABIR, ASSURES OF SECURITY DURING CELEBRATIONS

The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa, has felicitated with residents of Delta State, especially Muslim Faithful, on the occasion of the 2020 Ed-el-Kabir celebrations

The CP, in a statement issued on behalf of the management, officers, men and staff of the Command by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, assured the public of adequate security, before, during and after the celebrations. 

He noted that the Command had already stepped up security in the state through increased patrol and robust deployment of personnel and equipment to every nook and cranny of the state, promising the Command’s commitment to discharging its statutory mandate of securing lives and property, as well as  maintaining peace and order at all times. 

CP Inuwa urged members of the public to continue to assist and collaborate with the police and other security agencies to enable them serve the  people of the state better.

The Police boss admonished residents of the state to be security conscious and take appropriate measures towards protection themselves and their personal effects, not only at home but also in public places such as markets, worship centers, shopping malls and highways.

He urged Deltans to continue to observe all necessary precautionary measures prescribed by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and the state government to curtail the spread of COVID – 19 in the country and Delta State in particular.
