The leadership and members of the Delta State House of Assembly have commiserated with the Ogbaburhon family of Udu over the death of Chief Austin Ogbaburhon
The Speaker, Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori, at plenary, prayed God to grant the soul of the former federal lawmaker eternal rest and enjoined members to participate actively in the rites of passage as announced by the family.
The member representing the Udu Constituency, Honourable Peter Uviejitobor, had at Wednesday’s plenary of the House, brought to the notice of the State Legislature the demise of Chief Austin Ogbaburhon.
Coming under the item, “Personal Explanation”, Honourable Uviejitobor informed the house that Chief Ogbaburhon died on the June 25, 2020.
He said a Service of Songs in honor of the former federal lawmaker has been scheduled for 31st July, while he will be buried on Saturday, 1st August, 2020.
Honourable Uviejitobor enjoined his colleagues to attend the scheduled events to accord their last respect to the late former member of the National Assembly.
Chief Austin Ogbaburhon represented the Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency between 2011 and 2015 in the House of Representative.
