The member representing Ughelli north two constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Honourable (Prince) Eric Oharisi, has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his 61st birthday anniversary.
Oharisi, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Science and Technology, in a statement in Asaba, said the birthday celebration was another milestone not only to the Okowa family, but also the government and people of Delta state.
While regretting that the celebration was coming on a day the Governor and his wife were in isolation as a result of COVID – 19 infection, Oharisi said that would not stop Deltans from celebrating their pragmatic leader for his relentless fight against the dreaded virus in the state and for his visionary leadership.
The Lawmaker prayed God to take control over the challenges facing the first family of the state and to grant the Governor, wife and daughter speedy recovery and shower them with abundant grace.
The Lawmaker enjoined Deltans to sustain their unflinching support for the Governor in his determination to leave enduring legacies that would out live his administration.
