Delta State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Honourable Chika Ossai, has urged Deltans to join him in prayers for the speedy recovery of the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, his wife and daughter from the dreaded Corona virus.
Chika Ossai, in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Chuks Eboagwu, commended the courage and integrity shown by the Governor and the family in making their Covid 19 status public when they tested positive.
He noted that the Governor had been deeply involved in the fight against the COVID – 19 pandemic, both at the state and national level, and urged Deltans to continue to play safe in line with established protocols to curb further spread of the virus in the state.
The Commissioner also wished the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Chiedu Ebie, the Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagu and others infected with the dreaded corona virus quick recovery.
