EDO GUBER: Wike To Head PDP Campaign Council

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, as the Chairman of the Edo State Governorship election National Campaign Council.

The appointment is contained in a press statement released on the party’s twitter handle this evening.

The Party also appointed Adamawa State Governor, Honorable Ahmadu Fintri, as the Deputy Chairman of the Council.

The appointments are coming a few days after the All Progressives Congress (APC) appointed Governors of Kano, Umar Ganduje and Imo, Hope Uzodinma, as the Chairman and Deputy of the party’s National Campaign Council for the Edo State Governorship election, scheduled to hold on September 19, 2020.
