The Board of Trustees of the Association of ex – Chairmen of Local Government of Nigeria (ASELGON) has approved the appointment of a Deltan, Honourable Chinwe Monu-Olarewaju, as its Acting Chairman.
The appointment, which was announced at a meeting of the BOT held at Otta, Ogun state, was in recognition of Honourable Olarewaju’s commitment to the development of the association.
The Board, in a statement signed by its secretary, Mr. Anthony Agbetuyi, congratulated the Acting Chairman and urged her to use her wealth of experience to take the association to enviable heights.
It promised to hold its meetings as and when due to be able to come up with useful advice that would aid the National Working Committee of the association in the discharge of its assignments.
The Board said it would not hesitate to sanction any member working against the vision of the passociation.
