COVID – 19 UPDATE: Delta Bags 106 Cases In A Day, Ranks 2nd On National Chart

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday confirmed 594 new COVID – 19 infections from 22 states in the country, with 7 deaths.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria till date to 22,614 from the 122,155 samples so far tested.

There are 14,243 active cases, 7,822 discharges and 549 deaths

Delta has 106 new cases, which has shot the total number of confirmed infections to 715, out of which there are 534 active cases, 159 discharges and 22 deaths.

Besides Delta, new cases were reported from Lagos with (159), Ondo (44), FCT (34), Edo (34), Oyo (33), Kaduna (33) Enugu (28), Katsina (25), Imo (22), Adamawa (15), Ogun (12), Osun (11), Abia (8), Rivers (6), Nasarawa (5), Bauchi (5), Niger (5), kebbi (4), Ekiti (3), Plateau (1), Taraba (1)
