The controversy over the disqualification of Godwin Obaseki, on grounds of alleged discrepancies in his certificates, by the Professor Ayuba led APC screening committee, despite the University of Ibadan confirmation that Obaseki is a graduate of the institution, has led to the emergence of Adams Oshiomhole’s only certificate online.
The certificate, bearing the name Adams O. Aliyu, showed that he only attended an Adult Education Program of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
There are also doubts as to what the letter O on the certificate represents as it did not specifically represent Oshiomhole.
Some concerned individuals had blamed Ayuba, who is a professor in the academics, for allowing a less-educated Oshiomhole to manipulate him to do an illegitimate job of disqualifying Obaseki, when he should have stood on the part of truth.
An attendance certificate of an Adult Education program, being Oshiomhole’s only available certificate, further buttressed the argument of E.K Clark who had condemned Professor Ayuba Jonathan for giving himself to a hugely less educated person to be manipulated as a tool for entrenching illegitimacy.
Besides Clark, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers had also said Oshiomhole had no certificate yet his party disqualified a certified University graduate over alleged certificate issues.
