The Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Project Implementation and Evaluation, Honourable Johnson Erijo, has described the death of Sir (Chief) Tom Amioku as a huge loss to the PDP family, the Urhobo nation and the state at large.

Honourable Erijo, in a condolence message, noted that the late Amioku creditably piloted the affairs of PDP Delta Central when he served as the party’s Vice Chairman in the senatorial district, adding that as Commissioner and member of the State Executive Council his capacity and contributions to state matters were robust and remarkable.

He said as pioneer Chairman of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, the success story of the Capital Territory would not be complete without a place for the ingenuity of the Okpe – born politician and gentleman.

Erijo, a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly, condoled with the immediate family of the deceased and the entire Urhobo nation over the great loss and prayed God to grant his soul peaceful repose.
