CURFEW IN DELTA REMAINS FROM 7PM TO 6AM – Aniagwu

It has been confirmed that the curfew imposed in Delta by the state government has not been reviewed.

Information Commissioner, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, who confirmed this today in a telephone interview with our reporter, said the curfew remained from 7pm to 6am as earlier announced.

Aniagwu said Delta was not affected by the review by the federal government which reduced the curfew to run from 10pm to 4am.

He said a review could only be considered based on the realities on ground, pointing out that the present situation of COVID – 19 increasing new cases did not permit a review of the curfew.

The Commissioner urged Deltans to be guided by the order.
