An Executive Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring, Prince Godwin Ejinyere, has rejoiced with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his administrative success in the past five years.

In a statement issued at Orerokpe, Prince Ejinyere commended Governor Okowa for executing his Prosperity for all Deltans agenda from the inception of the first tenure of his administration.

He commended the Governor for establishing the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency to give the state capital and the environs a face lift and for boosting technical education in the state by upgrading existing technical colleges in the three senatorial districts, awarding contracts for the ongoing construction of new technical colleges in parts of the state, and creating a Technical Education Ministry to effectively supervise the technical schools.

Prince Ejinyere, a former Okpe Local Government Chairman, eulogized Governor Okowa for creating jobs for the youth through the Delta State Traffic Management Agency, DESTMA, set up by the state government to sanitize the road transportation system.

The EA also commended Governor Okowa for implementing the SMART Agenda in his first tenure, and expressed optimism that the Stronger Delta vision of his second tenure would guarantee equity, justice and fairplay in the state.

He said Governor Okowa had demonstrated a strong determination and political will in giving Deltans a better deal for their mandate and continuous support towards the actualization of a Stronger Delta.

The Okpe-born political tactician praised Okowa for adopting a medical approach in curbing the spread of coronavirus in Delta State, and for distributing palliatives to cushion the effect of the lockdown on the poor and vulnerable people in the state.

He congratulated the Governor, the state PDP family, Okpe people and other Deltans for the success of the first 365 days into the second tenure of the Okowa administration.

Prince Godwin Ejinyere, however, appealed to Deltans to give Governor Okowa maximum support and cooperation to enable him complete the numerous development projects across the state before the end of his second tenure.
