COVID – 19 UPDATE: Delta Records 23 Cases As Nigeria Confirms Highest Number Of Cases In A Day

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday announced the confirmation of 553 new cases of corona virus and 12 deaths from 15 state.

National figure now stands at 9,855 out of which 2,856 cases have been discharged and 273 deaths recorded in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 553 new cases are from Lagos with (378), FCT (52), Delta (23), Edo (22), Rivers (14), Ogun (13), Kaduna (12), Kano (9), Borno (7), Katsina (6), Jigawa (5), Oyo (5), Yobe (3), Plateau (3), Osun (1)

Lagós is still ahead with 4,755, Kano 951, FCT 616, Katsina 364, Edo 284, Oyo 280, Borno 271, Jigaea 270, among others.

Delta now has 80 confirmed cases.
