COVID – 19 UPDATE: Kogi Records First Case, Delta 2 More, As 389 New Cases Are Confirmed

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday confirmed 389 new cases of COVID – 19, bringing the total in the country to 8,733.

Kogi state, which had been free from the virus, recorded a case, Delta had 2 More, making it 51 cases in the state, out of which 30 are active, 14 discharged, while 7 have died.

Active cases in the country now stand at 5,978,. Discharged cases 2,591 and death toll 254.

The 389 new cases came from 22 states- Lagos (256), Katsina (23), Edo (22), Rivers (14), Kano(13), Adamawa (11), Akwa Ibom (11), Kaduna(7), Kwara (6), Nasarawa (6), Gombe (2), Plateau (2), Abia (2), Delta (2), Benue (2), Niger (2), Kogi (2), Oyo (2), Imo (1), Borno (1), Ogun (1), Anambra (1)
