The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 176 new cases of corona virus in 14 states.
The agency, in its Twitter page on Saturday, said 5 deaths were also recorded, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5,621, out of which 1,472 have been discharged, while 176 have died.
The new cases were recorded in Lagos with (95), Oyo (31), FCT (11), Niger (8), Borno (8), Jigawa (6), Kaduna (4), Anambra (3), Edo (2), Rivers (2), Nasarawa (2), Bauchi (2), Benue (1), Zamfafa (1).
Lagos is still far ahead with 2,373 cases, followed by Kano with 761, FCT 397,. Katsina 239, Bauchi 212, Borno 212, Jigawa 197, Ogun 145,.among others.
Delta has 25 confirmed cases, 12 active, 9 discharged, and 4 deaths.
