146 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the country on Tuesday, showing a drop from the 242 cases recorded on Monday.
The number had earlier dropped from 248 on Sunday to 242 on Monday, May 11.
Nigeria now has a total of 4,787 confirmed cases, out of which 959 have been discharged and 158 have died.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its Twitter handle, said the new cases were from Lagos with (57), Kano (27), Kwara (10), Edo (9), Bauchi (8), Yobe (7), Kebbi (4), Oyo (4), Katsina (3), Niger (3), Plateau (2), Borno (2), Sokoto (2), Benue (2), Gombe (1), Enugu (1), Ebonyi (1), Ogun (1), FCT (1), Rivers (1).
Delta remains stable with 17 confirmed case, 11 active, 3 discharged and 3 deaths.
