DELTA state has recorded 5 out of the 184 new cases of corona virus confirmed on Wednesday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The 184 cases, with 6 deaths, came from 22 states,.bringing the total number of confirmed cases from across the country to 4,971.
1,070 have been discharged,.while death toll is now 164 from 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Lagos recorded (51) of the new cases, Jigawa (23), Bauchi (16), Katsina (16), Kano (14), FCT (10), Rivers (10), Kwara (9), Delta (5), Kaduna (4), Sokoto (4), Oyo (4), Kebbi (3).
Others are Nasarawa (3),.Osun (3), Ondo (2), Ebonyi (1), Edo (1), Enugu (1), Anambra (1), Plateau (1), Niger (1).
There are now 22 confirmed cases in Delta, 13 on admission, 6 discharged, while 3 have died.
