Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Thursday met with religious leaders in Asaba to fashion out ways of worship by churches in the state.

It was resolved that two weeks relaxation should be allowed for worship in the first instance, subject to a review thereafter.

Both parties agreed that a maximum of 20 persons should be allowed to worship in churches of 50 sitting capacity, 50 persons in 100 capacity sitting churches, and 100 persons in 500 and above capacity sitting churches.

Only one service is allowed for a maximum of two hours on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Church authorities are to ensure social distancing, hand washing, sanitizing, no hugging, no handshake.
