Tuesday, April 14, 2020 is a memorable day in the life of Ika – born grassroots politician, Engr. Emmanuel Chuks Mormah, a Senior Special Assistant, SSA to the Delta State Governor on Project Monitoring.
It is the day, eight years ago, that he solemnized his marriage to his heartthrob, Pastor (Mrs) Esther Ann Mormah.
The marriage is blessed with three wonderful children and Engr Mormah has over the past eight years proven himself a loving and caring husband to his beautiful wife and father to his children.
Engineer Chuks Mormah holds a Master’s degree (M.Eng) in Electrical Engineering with specialization in power and machines.
In academics, he has made an impressive mark in his chosen career, which earned him the Headship of the Engineering Department of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-uku, and has published several academic works in both local and international Journals.
On assumption of duty as SSA to the Governor on Project Monitoring in the Office of Project Implementation and Evaluation, Engr Chuks Mormah worked out a template for an aggressive publicity of the activities of the Office in the social and conventional media and by that singular act won the heart of the Head of the Office and Special Adviser to the Governor, Honourable Johnson Erijo, who did not hesitate to make him Political Head of the media team, made up of seasoned journalists and other support staff as media aides.
He has been a source of inspiration and motivation to the media team with the aim of getting the team to perform optimally towards meeting the set goals and objectives of the Project Monitoring Office.
As a politician, Engr. Mormah founded a renowned political pressure group, the Delta Initiative Forum, (DIFO), whose membership cuts across the length and breath of Delta State.
As Director General of DIFO,, he ensured that the group actively particularly participated in political activities before, during and after the 2019 general elections in Delta state, and is currently planning to launch the DIFO Magazine to take the group to the next level.
Engineer Emmanuel Chuks Mormah is knowledgeable about issues affecting students having once been President of the National Association of Delta State Students, NADESTU, and the National President of Ika Students.
He is very passionate about helping others to achieve their ambitions, just as he is a good listener and counsellor who encourages people to build relationships.
Congratulations!!!
