The Delta State Police Commander has announced that there will be no church services in the state on Sunday to commemorate Easter.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hafiz Inuwa.
According to the statement, the stay at home order has not been lifted or relaxed for the Easter celebration, consequent upon which all residents are expected to remain in their homes and pray.
The police warned that any violation of the restriction of movement order under any guise will be visited with severe sanctions.
