In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, the Governor recalled with delight the APC Chieftain”s patriotic and unrelenting service to the nation, describing him as a worthy leader with great vision and aspiration.
Okowa said Tinubu’s role in the enthronement of democracy in the country and promotion of peace and unity, as well as his leadership role in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, must be appreciated.

The Governor stated that in the past 68 years of a life of outstanding accomplishments and great personal fulfillment, Tinubu had not only served the people of Lagos as a two – term governor, he also served the nation as a Senator.
Okowa said the nation would not be able to thank the APC national leader enough as in the process of his political journey, he had inspired many to become great leaders in the polity and business world.
He prayed God to continue to bless the celebrant with robust health and imbue him with continued guidance, protection, and enduring provision.
