A 42-year old man in Osun state, Damilare Adeoya, has killed his landlord after allegedly catching him making love to his wife in his matrimonial bed.
The angry man was said to have used a cutlass to kill his landlord.
The suspect, who owned up to the crime, said he had been suspecting an unholy affair between his wife and his landlord and decided to come back home earlier than usual on the fateful day after he saw a text message his wife sent to a number suggesting that they should meet by 11am.
Adeoya said he entered the house through the kitchen door to his bedroom where he caught the two pants down.
The suspect said he was ready to face the law for his action.
He was said to have also attacked his wife, who sustained life threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Osun State Police Command, Idrissu Adeboyejo, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect was in Police custody undergoing interrogations over the act.
He said the matter had been transferred to the State CID and the suspect would be charged to Court as soon as investigations were concluded.
The PPRO said the suspect caught his wife with the landlord on his matrimonial bed when he got back home after two hours of leaving for work and he had confessed to the crime.
