The Director – General of the Warri/Uvwie and Environs Special Area Development Agency, Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay, has felicitated with the newly inaugurated Archbishop of the Bendel Province of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Right Reverend. Cyril Odutemu
In a congratulatory message he personally signed, the former SSG noted the meteoric rise of Right Reverend Odutemu to the top, saying that this was made possible by the grace of God, hard work, self discipline and providence.
He particularly observed with delight that Odutemu at a youthful age of 38, remained the youngest priest to be elected Bishop of the Anglican Church, as well as the first Urhobo man to be installed Archbishop of the Church.
Macaulay said he was not surprised at the choice of Odutemu as Archbishop of the Bendel Province, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, given his total dedication to the service of God particularly the fire and anointing that followed his preaching of the gospel of Christ.
While noting that the sterling qualities of the new Archbishop attested to the confidence reposed in him by the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, in appointing him as the Chairman of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board, the former SSG prayed God to grant him the grace to excel in his new assignment.
