A grassroots politician in the state and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Henry Ofa, has felicitated with the Obi of Owa and Chairman, Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor the second, on his 82nd birthday anniversary.
Dr. Ofa, in a congratulatory message, noted that the Owa monarch, who ascended the throne at the age of 21, had been an epitome of humility, peace and progress in Owa Kingdom over the past 61 years as King.
He said the octogenarian had remained a model to younger royal fathers, adding that his robust ideals, strong character and philosophy had stood him out among his contemporaries as a phenomenal custodian of culture and tradition, which had endeared him to many.
The Oghara born politician said the wise counsel of Efeizomor had impacted positively on governance at the state and national levels, while his humble background had given purposeful leadership to the State Traditional Rulers Council, with prevailing peace across the Kingdoms and communities across the state.
Dr. Ofa prayed God to grant the Owa monarch longer life of service to the state and humanity, good health and prosperity, urging him to continue to use his wealth of wisdom to impact on the society..
