Former president Goodluck Jonathan has also congratulated a former member of his cabinet Ngozi Okonjo Iweala on her appointment as chairman of the South African Presidential Economic Advisory Council.
In a congratulatory message, the former president of Nigeria said as a two time minister in Nigeria, Okonjo – Iweala left indelible marks as an astute manager of the nation’s economy and resources, adding that he was delighted that she had continued to place her substantial wealth of experience as a development economist at the service of many nations and international organisations to aid global growth and progress.
Goodluck Jonathan maintained that he had no doubt in his mind that Okonjo – Iweala would excel in her new assignment.
