It was all smiles and jubilation for the elderly men and women selected from the six quarters of Igbodo kingdom in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, who benefited from the benevolence of Prophet Joseph Igbodo, when he visited and presented them with food items and toiletries.

The Founder and Senior Pastor of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, who is also the Proprietor of Job’s Orphanage and St. Stephen’s Trust Widows Outreach, visited the thirty six most elderly persons in Igbodo kingdom, six from each quarter, at their residences.

In a brief remark, Prophet Igbodo noted that the elderly persons had contributed  their quota to the reign of peace and overall development of the kingdom; saying that they had a lot of wisdom and experience to inculcate in the younger generation,

Prophet Igbodo expressed delight that the aged were strong in the Christian faith, maintaining that those who served God at old age were blessed.

He appreciated the Obi of Igbodo kingdom, Ikechukwu Nkeobikwu Osedume 1, for his humility, respect and fear of God and urged other traditional rulers to see the Obi as a model and emulate his sterling qualities.

The beneficiaries, aged 85 and above, thanked Prophet Igbodo for the gesture and prayed for him, his ministry and family, while the elect of God in turn prayed for the Obi, his Kingdom and subjects.

Obi Osedume thanked Prophet Igbodo and his team for their prayers and the gifts presented to the elderly men and women in the community; and prayed God to reward them.   .

Prophet Igbodo, was accompanied on the visit by Reverend Joseph Osayande, Pastor Michael Ukwuoma, Pastor Austin Ikpegbu, Pastor Benjamin Glory, Pastor Abraham Maduka, Pastor Friday Nzeh, Pastor Patrick Ojougboh, Brother Chuks Ossai and Sister Blessing.
