EJIME EMERGES DBS ASABA STAFF OF THE MONTH ( JAN ) 2020

The chairman, Board of Directors of Delta Broadcasting Service, Asaba  Comrade Felix Ofou, has charged staff of the state owned media outfit to strive for excellence in the performance of theirr official duties.


Comrade Ofou gave the charge while presenting the best staff of the month of January award to the station’s Government House correspondent, Ejime Udueme.


He reaffirmed the resolve of the Board to rebrand DBS, adding that efforts would be made to restructure the station to enhance content and service delivery.


The Board Chairman said the station  would continue to reward hard work, while indolence would be discouraged through appropriate sanctions..


Comrade Ofou challenged staff of the station to be alive to their responsibilities as much was expected of the Broadcast outfit, given the competitiveness of the industry.


He described the maiden award winner, Ejime Udueme, as a diligent and outstanding staff who had excelled in all assignments given to him and urged him to work harder.


The Deputy General Manager in charge of Administration, DBS,Asaba, Mr Gordy Onokpite, described Ejime Udueme as an asset to the establishment, pointing out that he met the criteria set for the award.

Receiving the award, highly elated Ejime  Udueme dedicated the honour to God and appreciated the chairman and members of the Board for initiating the reward system which he urged should be sustained.


While pledging to improve on his performance, the award recipient urged the management and staff to continue to work as a team in moving the station to greater heights.


Ejime received a certificate of excellence and financial reward.
