OKOWA REJOICES WITH ELUMELU AT 55

Governor of Delta state, Senaror Ifeanyi Okowa, has felicitated with the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Chief Ndudi Elumelu, who has turned 55.


Okowa, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika,  described the lawmaker as a courageous leader with sterling accomplishments.


He noted that Elumelu had made remarkable contributions to the growth of the legislature, especially in the power sector probe, adding that he had been a leading light and a role model to upcoming politicians.


The Governor stated that Elumelu’s devotion to excellence, commitment, simplicity and integrity would continue to inspire all whose lives he had affected in many ways.


Okowa prayed God to continue to bless the legislator with good health and many more years of great accomplishments.
Elumelu, who represents the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber, was first elected into the House in 2007 and served until 2015 when he joined the governorship race in the state, but was unsuccessful.


He was elected back to the House in 2019
