Members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ossissa ward one, Ndokwa east local government area, have been urged to harmonize their individual and collective ideas for the greater benefit of the party ahead of next month’s congress of the party.
The ward chairman, Pastor Bernard Ejechine, made the call today while addressing an enlarged meeting of the party in Ossissa.
Pastor Ejechine said nothing short of greater electoral honour was good for the party, adding that members should sink their differences and work for a common purpose to move the party forward.
He assured members that the leadership of the party in the ward would continue to carry them along in the scheme of things and called for robust contributions that would boost the fortunes of the party.
Some of the party leaders who spoke, including Chief Emmanuel Onyeukwu and Honourable Ugo Nwokolo, stressed the need for unity in the party to enable it finish stronger in future elections.
They commended the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for giving PDP in Delta state the right direction through his developmental strides across the state and solicited greater support of party faithful for the Governor.
