Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Health Monitoring, Dr Michael Nwoko, was among members of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, Texas, United State, who participated in the organization’s ribbon cutting.
The ceremony took place at Seabrook Waffle Company and Home 2 Suites in Pearland, Taxas, on Thursday 19th December, 2019.
Dr. Michael Nwoko was inducted into the Health Care Committee of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, Texas, United States on 4th January, 2019.
The SSA to the Governor who is set to be inducted as a member of the American Public Health Association is also a member of the Health Administrators Association of the United States of America.
The Pearland Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee is an International Health Care Committee with the mission to provide access to information regarding healthcare options in the fields of policy, advocacy and compliance, business and land development for creating a healthier community, a consumer and business education strategy, among others.
The Committee is expected to support the mission by bringing healthcare topics in multiple platforms that educate and engage the general public to make healthier choices, being a resource for local businesses looking to improve the health of their employees and providing education for consumers and business owners to be “healthcare insiders” that could make informed decisions when utilizing the healthcare system.
