A reputable civil engineering firm, Bube Dan Global Resources limited, has been honoured by the Delta State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ for making Corporate Social Responsibility in its area of operations a top priority.
The company was the only corporate organization so honoured at the grand finale of the 2019 NUJ Press Week organized by the leadership of the Delta State Council of the Union.
Bube-Dan Global Resources limited, bagged “Corporate Social Responsibility and Humanitarian Services Award”, which the union described as well deserved.
The Chairman, NUJ, Delta State Council, Comrade Mike Ikeogwu, said the Union had keenly monitored the activities of the company in Delta State and decided to reward it to encourage the firm to do more in its areas of operations.
Comrade Ikeogwu as a watchdog of the society, the NUJ would continue to appreciate those adding values to humanity and commended the Managing Director of Bube-Dan Global Resource, Mr Ifeanyi Nkeki for being a leading light in the development of the state.
In his reaction, the MD, Mr Ifeanyi Nkeki, expressed profound appreciation to the NUJ for the recognition and honour, stressing that the award would spur the company to do more in its desire to better the society.
Nkeki disclosed that the firm had seasoned professionals to provide quality services in the construction industry and commended stakeholders that had supported the company to grow.
He pledged the company’s support and partnership with members of the fourth estate of the realm, maintaining that the award by the NUJ, would remain an enduring legacy in the life of the organisation.
