Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has approved the appointment of Senior Apostle Sylvanus Okorote as Special Adviser on Religious Matters and that of Omimi Esquire as Political Adviser.
The appointments are contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Delta State Government, Mr Chiedu Ebie.
Also approved is the reconstitution of the Boards of 15 Departments and Agencies.
Among them are DBS Asaba with Felix Ofou as chairman, Barrister Chinedu Nezianya, Chief Nduka Oguda and Mrs Agnes Ashubu as members, while DBS Warri has Dr Ifeanyi Osuoza as chairman, with Hon. Abel Oshevire, Johnson Agbeyegbe and Mrs Mary Sagboje as members.
Delta Printing and Publishing Company Board has David Oghenekevwe as chairman, while the members are Chief Jude Ogbekile, Mrs Toju Aziz, Lillian Okolie and Chief Goodluck Egubare.
Dr Austin Obidi is chairman designate of the State Hospitals Management Board, which has Dr Charles Obaze, Mrs Felicia Ojobo, Dr Chinedu Osaji, Lawrence Okompu and Dr Clarke Anthony as members, while the Delta State Tourism Board has Princess Tina Amuamuziam as chairman and Barrister Theodora Azinge as member.
Delta Development and Property Authority Board has Hon. Emma Utomi as chairman designate.
Members are Tony Oboroh, Patricia Asiyai, Florence Nwani, Afokoghene Irogho, Margaret Iboyitete, Chuks Emu-Ebie and Sir Aba Ndekwu.
Bishop Cyril Odutemu is chairman Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, with Rev. Samuel Okoh as Executive Secretary and Rev. Fr. Christopher Ekabo, Bishop Jonathan Arhawharien, Rev. Monday Madukwe, Rev. Daniel Ebikems and Mrs Tega Odudu as members.
The Advisers, as well as chairmen and members of the aforementioned Boards will be sworn in by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in the Unity Hall, Old Government House Asaba, at 10am.
The appointees and invited guests (only) have been requested to be seated by 9:30am for the inauguration.
