GOVERNING COUNCILS OF 7 TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS IN DELTA SET FOR INAUGURATION DEC 11

Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa will on Wednesday, 11th December, 2019 inaugurate the Governing Councils of seven tertiary institutions in the state.


They are the Colleges of Education Agbor, Warri and Mosogar, the Delta State Polytechnics Ogwashi Uku, Ozoro and Otefe-Oghara, as well as the School of Marine Technology, Burutu.


A statement by the Secretary to the Delta State Government, Mr Chiedu Ebie, says the ceremony will take place in the Unity Hall, Old Government House Asaba at 10am


The appointees for the College of Education Agbor are Chief Emmanuel Onyeukwu chairman, Idris Oyibo member, Yellowman Yaike member and Mrs Ijeh Adauka member.


College of Education Warri has Mr V. O. T. Abanum as chairman and Mrs Gloria Ariole, Mr Carter Fleming and Odiore Willikie as member, while Honourable Lovethe Idisi is chairman of council College of Education Mosogar, with Americana Edon, Mrs Mary Chidi and Ugbene Ogheneovo as members.


Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi Uku has Chief Joe Arausi as chairman, Chukwuma Oseyenim, Senior Adibor, Mrs Ojeah Patricia and Obi Fredrick as members, while Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro has Dr Festus Okubor as chairman, Gabriel Alebe, Joe Adigwe, Mrs Jennifer Edeviroro and Dr G Enita as members.


Chief Andrew Orugbo is chairman of council Delta State Polytechnic Otefe, with Chief Oti Agoba, Chief J. B. Oduma, Richard Okonyia and Dr Emmanuel Ufuophu-Biri as members, while School of Marine Technology Burutu has Chief J. T. Government as chairman.


The members are Captain Anthony Onoharigho, Professor Emmanuel Achuenu, Dr David Ighorojah and Celestina Ewesuodo.


All appointees and invited guests (only) are to be seated by 9:30am
