SOWORE OFF DSS HOOK

The Department of State Service, DSS, has bowed to pressure with the release of the convener of Revolution Now, Omoyele Sowore.

Sowore and Olawale Bakare, a journalist, were released on Thursday night in Abuja, as tweeted by Sahara Reporters.

A court had earlier today issued a 24-hour ultimatum for the release of Sowore and Bakare who have been in detention since August 2, 2019.

Sowore’s mother also on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, begged President Buhari to release her son.
