Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on Monday reiterated his call on investors to tap from the abundant potentials in the state for quick returns.
He made the call in Asaba when the Ambassador of the Republic of Czech to Nigeria, Mr Marek Skolil, visited him.
The Governor expressed delight at the growing interest of the global community in investing in the state, and assured that investors would not regret doing business in the state.
Okowa said people of the state were hospitable and the environment conducive for investment.
He expressed satisfaction with the existing relations between Nigeria and the Republic of Czech, saying he was looking forward to a partnership that would mutually benefit the state..
Earlier, the envoy said he was in Asaba to seek partnership with Delta state on investment, disclosing that Czech was known for mechanized farming, industries, education, military prowess, among others.
Skolil disclosed that his country was interested in Delta, because “it is a state with valuable potentials”.
