Delta State Post Primary Education Board, PPEB, last week organized an induction/sensitization programme for Permanent Secretaries and Directors in the Board.
According to the Chairman of the Board, Mrs Christiana Etaluku, the aim of the programme was to equip the PSs and Directors with the knowledge to drive the system, particularly monitoring of schools in their senatorial districts, to keep teachers on their toes and ensure diligence and efficiency.
A former Permanent Secretary in the Board, Sir Colman Agbegha, who was resource person on the occasion, took the participants on the functions, organogram and decision making process of the Board, charging them to defend the integrity of the institution they represent in their actions and utterances.
Participants were drawn from the Board’s headquarters and zonal offices across the state.
