A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oghara, Ethiope west local government area of Delta state, Dr Henry Ofa, has felicitated with the state Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, on his Appeal Court victory over Chief Great Ogboru and his All Progressives Congress, APC.
Dr Ofa, in a message, said the victory did not come to him as a surprise because it was clear that Ogboru’s case was empty as it lacked substantial evidence.
He noted that the margin of lead in the election was huge for anyone to challenge, adding that the victory of Okowa was massively spread across the state in recognition of his developmental strides in the last four years.
This, Dr Ofa said, made the campaigns of PDP easy and issue based.
The PDP faithful, who produced several editions of DVDs and authored books showcasing the achievements of the Governor, advised Ogboru to see Okowa’s victory both at the polls and court as an act of God and accept it in good faith and pray for the Governor to succeed.
He thanked PDP faithful in the state for their unflinching support for the Governor and other candidates of the party before, during and after the elections.
Dr Ofa prayed God to give the Governor more strength to consolidate his laudable achievements and make the Stronger Delta vision achievable.
