The Director General of the defunct Delta State PDP Campaign Organisation for the 2019 election, Honourable Funkekeme Solomon, has described the attempt by Chief Great Ogboru to challenge the victory of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa at the polls as a mission impossible.

Honourable Solomon, now the Senior Political Adviser to Governor Okowa, made the assertion while reacting to the the Governor’s victory at the Court of Appeal.

He said across the length and breadth of the state the PDP campaigns were focused and issue based, stressing that the giant strides of the Governor were verifiable and well spread to the extent that every Deltan could reasonably feel the impact of government.

While describing Great Ogboru as a serial loser and litigant, the Senior Political Adviser counseled him to respect the unanimous decision of Deltans to elect Okowa as their Governor and stop challenging an act of God.

Honourable Solomon wondered how Ogboru could have won his court cases after winning in two out of the 25 local government areas of the state, and without evidence to prove his allegation of irregularities in the election.

He thanked Deltans for their massive support for Governor Okowa and PDP and commended the judiciary for standing for the truth.
