The Publicly Secretary – elect of foremost Ijaw national body, the Ijaw National Congress, Engr. Oyakemeagbegha Ezonebi, has described the Appeal Court victory of Senator James Manager as an affirmation of the mandate freely given to him by the people of Delta south senatorial district.
Ezonebi, in a congratulatory message, said Manager had represented the people of Delta south creditably at the Red Chambers, which was why he was reelected in the 2019 election.
He stated that the Tribunal ruling would have robbed the people of Delta south of a focused and experienced representative.
The INC Publicity Secretary – elect commended James Manager’s opponent, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan for accepting the Appeal Court verdict and urged him to join hands with the Senator to take the senatorial district to greater heights.
Ezonebi called on the people of Delta south to increase their support for Senator Manager to enable him attract more dividends of democracy to the senatorial district.
