Delta State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Honourable Chika Ossai, has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his commitment to industrializing Delta state.
Honourable Chika Ossai, who stated this in the Republic of China in a telephone chat with his Special Assistant on Media, Chuks Eboagwu, said the Governor’s vision to establish an Industrial Park in Kwale would soon materialize.
He said the development of the Kwale Industrial Park will not only make the state a commercial nerve centre, but also create jobs for the teeming youth within and outside Delta state.
While calling on Deltans to support the Governor’s initiative to attract foreign investment to the Kwale Industrial Park project, the Trade and Investment Commissioner said the proposed Industrial Park would host major companies into the manufacturing of ceramics and methanol when operational.
He appealed to the host communities and land owners at the site of the Park to embrace government gesture by ensuring that the environment remained conducive to investors.
while saying that Senator Okowa was determine to turn Ndokwa to China of a sort, Honourable Chika Ossai said the ten million dollar intervention fund would be a confidence booster for prospective investors.
The Commissioner added that the state government’s delegation to China was to promote investment between Nigeria and China, with Delta state as the major beneficiary.
