Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has urged religious leaders to pray for the uplifting of the nation, saying that their prayers would impact on the lives of the people.
The Governor made the call on Friday in Asaba when Evangelist Rabbi Schneider paid him a courtesy visit.
According to him, crusades would win more souls for Christ and ” the more we pray as a nation, the more we connect with God and find solutions to the challenges facing us.”
Okowa added that with prayers, God would continue to turn things around for the nation and as a state Deltans would continue to put their trust in God.
Evangelist Rabbi Schneider had told the Governor that he and members of his team were in the state for the Ika Wonderland Crusade which he said would bring prosperity to the people.
