The member representing the Aniocha North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Honourable Emeka Nwaobi, has been appointed a patron of the Man O’ War Nigeria, Delta State Command.
The appointment letter endorsed by the Coordinator of the Asaba Area Division of the Command, Mr Azu and the Area Commander, Mr Chidozie Ajumah, was handed over to Honourable Nwaobi in his office at the Assembly Complex, Asaba, during a visit.
The Coordinator of the Division, Mr Azu Nwokolo, who led a delegation of senior officers of the para-military voluntary organization on the visit, said the investiture and decoration ceremony would hold on a later date.
He disclosed that the appointment of Honourable Nwaobi as patron was as a result of his interest in youth development and humanitarian services.
In his remarks, Honourable Nwaobi pledged to remain committed to the improvement of the society and development of mankind.
The Lawmaker stated that it was a thing of joy to be so honored and promised to embrace the activities of the Man O’ War Nigeria as a patron in the Delta State Command.
Honourable Nwaobi, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Works, Delta State House of Assembly, informed his visitors about the efforts of the Okowa administration at ensuring peace and security in the state and commended voluntary organizations in the state for their support.
He said he was mindful of the enormous task ahead and promised to diligently performed his duties as Patron of the organisation.
