‘Unconfirmed’ reports have it that President Muhammadu Buhari will be taking a new wife on Friday (today) October 11, 2019.
According to the reports, President Buhari will be getting married to Sadia Umar Farouq, who is the current Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
The 45 year old lady was Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons in Buhari’s first tenure in office.
If the marriage holds, it will confirm the suspicions of concerned Nigerians over the continued absence of the current First Lady, Aisha Buhari, who has been totally incommunicado since her trip to the UK.
She was said to have left the country in protest against “certain developments” at the presidency, particularly the alleged hijack of the Aso Rock Villa by a cabal.
Buhari had challenged Aisha to prove the influence of the cabal on the presidency and since then the couple had kept a distance from each other.
The Presidency has yet to comment on the trending story.
