The Protem National President, Chartered Institute of Forensic And Investigative Professionals of Nigeria (CIFIPN), Dr. Victoria Enape, has said that the Institute is Committed to building a Community for global fight against fraud, corruption and and Cyber Crimes in Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the World.
Dr Enape disclosed this in Abuja, during the Institute’s strategic VIP Dinner and Award Night.
The event was well attended by Forensic Experts from across Nigeria, National Presidents of different Professional bodies in the financial, political stakeholders, including present and past public office holders, chartered accountants, security experts, criminologists, psychologists, legal practitioners, Cyber security experts, Internals and external audit practitioners, bankers, engineers, media practitioners, tax practitioners, economists, academia, architects, accountants, among others.
Dr. Enape, while addressing the awardees and inductees, charged them to be good ambassadors, protect the image of the Institute and be committed to advancing the group’s vision of seeking to establish a culture of transparency that would engender integrity and trust in the system, using forensic methodologies and inspire public confidence in the Nigerian economic system.
She admonished members to pursue equity with clean hands as she noted that Nigeria’s image would be fully restored if President Mohammed Buhari assented to the Bill seeking to fulfil CIFIPN’s Mission which was to provide excellent opportunities at national and International levels through capacity building in skills and techniques of forensic investigation.
