The Director-General of the Delta State Bureau of Orientation, Barrister Eugene Uzum, has dedcribed Governor Okowa’s victory at the Delta State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal in Asaba as an endorsement of a credible electoral process.
Barrister Uzum made the assertion in Asaba in a message shortly after the Tribunal verdict.
The Orientation helmsman maintained that the tribunal judgement was victory for democracy, and an acknowledgement of the policy thrust of the Okowa Administration geared towards a Stronger Delta State in particular and the uplifting of humanity in general.
Describing the judgement as a no-victor, no-vanguished verdict, Barrister Uzum called for a critical appraisal of the electoral process in the country, stressing the need to always applaud credible processes and shun divisive tendencies that could tear the nation apart.
While congratulating Deltans and by extension Nigerians on the tribunal verdict, Barrister Uzum called for the consolidation of the giant strides of the Okowa administration in all sectors, adding that there was the need to continue to support the administration in its drive to take the state to enviable heights.
