Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Sunday inspected the ongoing rehabilitation of the Warri – Sapele – Benin federal highway.
The Governor, who was accompanied by some top government functionaries, commended the contractor for the progress made so far, reiterating the determination of his administration to make the road easily accessible by Deltans and other users.
He said the state government was not rehabilitating the road and other federal roads within its borders because it had the resources to do so, but because of its importance to the socio-economic life of Deltans and non Deltans alike.
