Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has congratulated the Obi of Owa Kingdom, Dr Emmanuel Efeizomor the second, on his 60th coronation anniversary.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifejika, the Governor described the renowned traditional ruler as a man of peace and extreme humility.
He said Obi Efeizomor, who is also the Chairman, Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers, had impacted positively on his people and the state.
The Governor said the monarch’s reign had brought incredible transformation and sustainable peace to Owa kingdom, adding that he had re-written the history of Owa kingdom, through hard work and focus.
Okowa said his administration was appreciative of Obi Efeizomor’s wise counsel at all times and what traditional rulers in the state were doing at the grassroots to make governance easier for all.
He wished the monarch many more years on the ancient throne of his forefathers.
