The 60 years of Obi Efeizomor the second on the royal stool of Owa Kingdom has been described as remarkable and fulfilling.
The Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta state, Honourable Funkekeme Solomon, made the remark in a congratulatory message to the Owa monarch on the occasion of his 60th coronation anniversary.
Honourable Solomon said for Obi Efeizomor to have successfully ruled Owa Kingdom for 60 years stood him out as a man of peace and a father to all Owa people.
He noted that Owa Kingdom had witnessed unprecedented growth and development under the watch of Obi Efeizomor because of the existence of a conducive environment engendered by peace, unity, fairness and equity which had remained the hallmarks of his reign.
The Senior Political Adviser further noted that the monarch’s leadership of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers was of great benefit to the state as members of the Council had been positively influenced by his peaceful disposition.
Honourable Solomon said with the level of peace in the state, made possible by the role of traditional rulers, the Stronger Delta vision was achievable and commended the Owa monarch for giving direction to the Traditional Rulers Council.
He prayed God to grant Obi Efeizomor good health and wisdom required to make the right decisions that would continue to move Owa Kingdom and indeed Delta state forward.
