The Delta State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Honourable Chika Ossai, has congratulated the government and people of Delta State on the 28th anniversary of the creation of the state.
Honourable Chika Ossai, while speaking to newsmen in Asaba, said there was every reason for Deltans to celebrate given the huge infrastructural development that had taken place since the creation of the state as against the what the situation was in 1999.
He commended successive governments of the State since creation for their efforts at ensuring that the State remained one indivisible entity and for prudent management of the State’s resources.
The Commissioner, who lauded the Okowa administration for an impressive showing in the areas of road construction, human capital development and job creation, said the Governor had done well towards building a stronger Delta.
The Trade and Investment Commissioner added that the harvest of projects witnesses so far was a pointer to more good things to come to the State Under the PDP administration.
He commended the investment friendly environment in the State, which had helped to attract investors to the State, thereby making the State the commercial hub of the nation.
Honourable Chika Ossai appealed to Deltans to use the spirit behind Delta at 28 celebration to show more support for the Okowa administration.
